Bowled Over

Bowled Over in the Dells

There’s speculation that bowling may date back to ancient Egyptian times - seems primitive bowling balls were found in graves from 5,000 years ago. Did you know Henry VIII was a keen bowler? Or that Milwaukee was once America’s Tenpin Capital? Just a little trivia to get Bowling Day rolling.

Bowled Over in the Dells

You may be bowled over at the alley choices in Wisconsin Dells. Chalet Lanes & Lounge in downtown Dells, with a dozen lanes, is known for its cosmic bowling, plus it hosts a variety of leagues and tournaments and has a pro shop with the latest gear. Knuckleheads Trampoline Park • Rides • Bowling has 10 lanes, with cosmic bowling offered daily, and bumper bowling and lightweight bowling balls for the little ones. Kalahari Indoor Theme Park comes in at a cool 24 lanes.

Bowling, an oldie but a goodie.
