A growing family tradition is spending the holidays with your loved ones in a place you love-Wisconsin Dells. Our local waterparks make the holiday season so special for visitors, allowing grown-ups to have as much fun as the kids. Here is a rundown of holiday waterpark specials that may have you joining in the tradition too.
Chula Vista Resort: The holiday cheer is overflowing with most of the excitement centering on the big guy. There are winter wonderland workshops for writing letters to Santa, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus and the elves, holiday sing-alongs, movies, bingo, scavenger hunts, and wagon rides around the beautiful grounds. On Saturdays, meet jolly old Saint Nick himself. Hanukkah crafts are available to celebrate the Festival of Lights.
Kalahari Resort: The Holiday Buffet and Stay Package at the Kalahari Resort includes accommodations, a sumptuous holiday feast with all the traditional favorites, and admission to Wisconsin’s largest indoor waterpark. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be hosting “meet-and-greets” throughout December along with various craft for kids. Do not forget the complimentary Christmas cookies every day at 3 p.m.
Wilderness Resort: Santa Claus is coming to the Wilderness Resort, and he is bringing his elves. Santa will be available for photos, and the elves will be helping with cookie decorating and ornament making. Throughout December Santa’s elves will make special deliveries to good boys and girls, check with the front desk. Christmas Day will begin with a delicious breakfast buffet, followed by an equally mouthwatering evening buffet-call for reservations on either.
Great Wolf Lodge: It’s Snowland time at the Great Wolf Lodge with a life-size gingerbread house and nightly snow showers in the grand lobby. Through December enjoy holiday movies, caroling, story time, candy cane games, hot cocoa and visits with Santa. North Pole University is another guest favorite, upon check-in, kids are automatically enrolled. Once kids complete the U’s four courses in various activities including meeting a Great Wolf Kids character, they receive a “snowploma” and exclusive Rowdy the Reindeer trading card.
