There are a number of attractions that are virtually synonymous with Wisconsin Dells, like waterparks and Duck tours and ski shows. Fudge needs to be on that list too. Original Wisconsin Dells Fudge opened back in 1962 and they’re still using the same old-fashioned recipe. Their fudge is made in small batches every day, like the Double Dark Chocolate with twice the chocolate as their regular fudge. Dells Fudge Company uses only real Wisconsin butter and cream, fine chocolate, real extracts, and choice nuts to make their trademark treat. At Grandma’s Original Fudge, try the fudge, of course, but we also recommend the turtles and almond bark. Wisconsin Dairyland Fudge, also circa 1962, uses recipes handed down through generations. Look for the copper kettles and special candy tables at Swiss Maid Fudge and make a point to try whatever seasonal fudge is being featured because it will be delicious. Finally, there’s The Fudgery, where creamy fudge and creamy ice cream are the ultimate sweet tooth’s dream.
