Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum is paying tribute to the ancient art of sword swallowing by holding free sword swallowing performances on World Sword Swallower's Day, Saturday, February 27. Darrel Hunsley will show off his skills as one of just a few people in the world who can swallow swords. And yes, the swords are real and made of solid steal. Interesting side note: The day also raises awareness of the contributions sword swallowers have made to the fields of medicine and science and raises money for esophageal cancer research.
