Memorial Day Weekend in Wisconsin Dells means a lot of things. A four-day weekend. A time to disconnect from work. A chance to reconnect with the people who mean the most to you. As we honor those who serve, it seems fitting this be a weekend dedicated to spending time with family and friends.
You may not know this, but many of our waterpark resorts, classic hotels and campgrounds are owned by local families. That explains a great deal as to why they do such a stellar job of serving family vacationers…they get it. So hats off to them.
We also like to recognize the ingenuity and inventiveness of our local businesses. Like Polynesian Water Park Resort, the pioneer of the indoor waterpark. And the Tommy Bartlett Show, the longest running outdoor ski show of its kind in the United States. The largest fleet of WWII land-to-water craft known as Ducks can be found right here in the Dells. The world’s longest underground roller coaster tunnel comes courtesy of Hades 360⁰ at Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park. As for new, it’s a pleasant potpourri of new restaurants, new attractions and new hotels.
We’ve been working all winter to get ready for this moment. We can’t wait to welcome you back!
