The proud brewing heritage of Wisconsin shines through during the annual Dells on Tap Weekend, Oct. 13-14. And while most microbrewery tasting events are one day and one day only, we’ve dedicated the weekend to the tastiest seasonal brews from the finest craft brewers in the Midwest.
The suds start flowing Friday evening, Oct. 13 during the Dells Craft Beer Walk, running from 5-10 p.m. Sample artisan brews at participating downtown bars, and use your ticket to get in on food and other tap specials too. Pick up your tasting glass at the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau, 701 Superior Street, Wisconsin Dells, anytime between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday.
After a good night’s snooze at any one of our 8,000 resort or hotel rooms, it’s time to steel yourself for the trekking, bag tossing, and tastings ahead.
Saturday doings start at 9 a.m. with a Dells on Tap 5K “Race to the Taps.” At 11 a.m., it’s time for the Bag Toss Tournament. Then it’s on to the main draw, the tastings at Dells on Tap, located on the festival grounds just off La Crosse Street in downtown Dells and running from 1 – 5 p.m. Nearly 50 microbrews will be serving their finest beers. For true brew devotees, get in on the VIP admission that runs from noon to 1 p.m. Only 500 VIP admissions are available, so best not to drag your feet on this one, best yet get your tickets now.
