We're a historically significant tourism destination, but we're also "The Waterpark Capital of the World!®" Mother Nature blessed us with geological features that are drop-dead gorgeous, but human ingenuity gets the nod for far-out attractions. Even reporters concede there's no other place like us on earth.
The long list of experience to the left is further proof that originality is in high supply here. With the weather turning warm, a downtown stroll of our classic boutiques, fudge shops and attractions is mandatory. The RiverWalk is very cool too if you're into incredible scenery. Come summer, outdoor waterparks rule the season. It's all good!
Family Fun In The Dells
Not too crazy about the superlatives, but family fun is absolutely everywhere in the Dells. Check out the indoor amusement parks. Did we mention the Dells is also the go-kart and mini-golf capital of the world and we have those attractions indoors too! Add to your to-do list a theater built for magic and another built for Broadway-style shows and interactive museums built for adventure. You get the picture, tempting as it is.
Awesome Wisconsin Dells Scenery
The flip side of heart-pounding fun is the incredible scenic beauty of the Dells. It was the pristine natural resources that first brought travelers here 150 years ago, and they're still a huge draw today.
So paddle your canoe or kayak down the Wisconsin River. Toss out a line and reel in panfish, walleye or bass. Hike one of three nearby state parks. And definitely don't miss water skiing on the newly opened Lake Delton.
