Private log cabins and duplex-style log cabins with kitchens and fireplaces. Located in a quiet, wooded area 1 1/2 miles from downtown. Hiking trail to river. Basketball, tennis, volleyball, seasonal outdoor pool. Jacuzzi suite with fireplace and kitchen (2 people only). Birchcliff promotes a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Pets allowed with approval in designated areas. Cabins do not have phones or computer hook-ups. Golf, waterpark, and other packages available.

Driving Directions from I/90
Exit Interstate 90 on Dells Exit #87 (Hwy. 13 North).
Take Hwy. 13 North to the 4th traffic light - which is River Road/ Superior Street.
Turn Left on River Road. Go 1 mile, River Road will come to a "Y" - veer Left, go 1/2 mile to Birchcliff Resort on the Left.

This is a Classic Wisconsin Dells Experience:
In 1917, the Loomis family turned their four-bedroom farmhouse into a modest B&B, and that was the beginning of Birchcliff Resort. Then, in the 1930s they expanded, sprinkling cabins throughout the property, which are tucked back in the woods. There’s a hiking trail to the Wisconsin River, outdoor pool, volleyball, basketball and shuffle board. Each cabin has a park-style charcoal grill and picnic table. It’s charming, quiet after 10 p.m., and the staff is as friendly as you’ll find anywhere. Be sure to saunter out for the evening bonfire and appreciate the conversation and star gazing.

"My wife and I were looking for a place to get away for our anniversary the beginning of April. While searching the Dells website she found Birchcliff Resort. The owners there made placing our reservation so easy and simple. Upon our arrival, they made sure everything we needed was taken care of. We stayed 3 nights in cabin # 33...It was GORGEOUS! Just perfect for the two of us to relax and celebrate our anniversary. The Price was reasonable and the simplicity of the resort made the weekend very memorable. The nightly campfire, the total family atmosphere, and the graciousness of the owners made this a destination we plan on visiting regularly with friends and family."

"Spending my 3 days at cabin #31 was the best time of my life. We got there at about 10pm and we were tired, we really could not see the resort. So we got to our rooms the were beutiful, the bad part was no t.v:( And i love the fact it was just like living at home. just on vacation! i did not want to leave! i am so looking forward to coming back for a week this year 2009"
