This is a Classic Wisconsin Dells Experience:
For Wisconsin Dells insiders, the place for burgers is Monk’s Bar & Grill, located in an 1800s-era building smack dab in the middle of downtown. Monk Burgers have been legendary since 1947, when owner Monk Heineke first wafted the smell of burgers and onions frying all the way up and down the main street. Monk called it “aroma marketing,” and it has lured customers in the door for more than 60 years. Monk’s is one of the oldest restaurants in Wisconsin Dells and many tasty traditions continue yet today. Wisconsinites enjoy the fact that it’s also a shrine for Badger memorabilia.

"We love the Dells. We try to drive up from Chicago at least once or twice a year. One of our traditions is having a meal or four and Monk's Bar and Grill! Love the atmosphere, awesome burgers, great selection! Great prices too!"

"Best burgers around! The highlight of my family's annual trip to the Dells is going downtown to Monks. Make sure to order the cheesecurds- yummy. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive, even when the place is packed. The burgers are juicy- I always get mine with cheese and grilled onions and they are always perfect. To beat the crowd, make sure to go there for lunch or an early dinner though."
