Wisconsin Dells Visitor Information Center


After arriving in Wisconsin Dells, visitors can obtain vacation planning information from our Visitor Information Center, located in Downtown Wisconsin Dells at 701 Superior Street. We're open seven days a week from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm (during the summer we're open until 9:00 pm). Our knowledgeable, friendly staff can answer questions and provide great tips on area activities, restaurants and shopping. Family Reunions And Other Group Travel
Visitors planning family reunions, weddings, business meetings or other large group gatherings can call (800) 223-3557 and speak with a group specialist, who will have handy tools to make group vacation planning a breeze.

Our Location
Wisconsin Dells is situated in Wisconsin's Heartland, in the middle of the southern half of the state. It's about 115 miles north west of Milwaukee and about 50 miles north of Madison.

Community Information
The Wisconsin Dells community is made up of the City of Wisconsin Dells and the Village of Lake Delton. Totaling just over 19 square miles, our destination may have just 5,184 permanent residents, but we can host more than 50,000 guests per day.

Wisconsin Dells Tax Information
There is a 6.5% sales tax in the Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area on all purchased items. There is an 11.5% tax on all lodging accommodations.
