Downtown Racine To Host Wisconsin's 2012 Official Snow Sculpting Competition
It's official! The Wisconsin State Snow Sculpting competition has announced their move to a new location beginning in January 2012. Downtown Racine, Wisconsin will be the host of the event to be held January 13-15 at Monument Square. The event will feature 16 snow sculpting teams from around Wisconsin, each vying for the state title that will take them to the national championships in Lake Geneva. Click here for all the details.
2011 Flake Out Festival Winners
Winners from the 2011 event are listed below for Sculptures' Choice, People's Choice, Media Choice and the Overall Championship. The Overall Championship team of Jeff Shawhan, Brett Tomczak, and Jim Malkowski from Racine, Wisconsin will represent the state at the 2012 U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin next February.
