From resorts chock full of family-fun activities to scrumptious buffets around town, it’s easy to make family memories while letting someone else clean up the mess! Here is the latest list of Easter happenings. (All Easter Brunch/Buffet Options occur on Sunday, April 16th unless otherwise noted.)
Chula Vista Resort
This scenic resort on the Wisconsin River has been hosting families for Easter for years. Check out their Easter Stay Special here. During your stay, your family can take advantage of activities including a family movie night, Bunny Hop family dance, Easter Bunny visit and egg decorating. The Easter Buffet runs from 11:00am – 4:00pm and includes specialties such as a chef rolled sushi bar, poached salmon display, chef made omelets, ham and roast beef.
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions
Across town, Kalahari Resorts has a packed schedule of activities, including ducky races, tie-dying, an Easter egg hunt, spring-themed painting and more. From 9:30am – 1:00pm you can enjoy Kalahari’s rendition of an Easter Buffet, including salad bar, shrimp cocktail, oysters, quiches, carving stations, and entrees from chicken to flounder to lamb.
Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort
Over at Wilderness Resort, guests can join in crafts and games like Easter Bingo, then grab a map and hop a special Bunny Trail plotted throughout the resort. The Easter Bunny will be on-site Saturday and Sunday, and there will be a Sunday Easter egg hunt. Wilderness will have two options for Easter dining. From 7:00am – 1:00pm the Easter Brunch Buffet will feature yummy entrees like crème brulee French toast, tangerine-glazed ham, kielbasa and blueberry bake. Then from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, guests can enjoy an Easter Dinner Buffet with boneless leg of lamb, baked salmon with lemon dill sauce, chicken with leeks, mashed potatoes, Mediterranean veggies and more.
Buffalo Phil’s Pizza & Grille
Easter Brunch Buffet: 11:00am – 3:00pm
This family-friendly haven located near Exit 92 will feature an Easter Brunch Buffet with oven roasted ham, cheesy hash browns, and French toast sticks, along with a full salad, pasta and soup bar.
Field’s at the Wilderness
Easter Specials: 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Field’s is a classic fine dining experience. Diners will find featured entrees for the day, including prime rib, braised lamb shank and Virginia baked pit ham.
House of Embers
Easter Brunch Buffet: 10:00am – 1:30pm
House of Embers is another stop that has been in the Easter brunch game for years. This cozy restaurant will have a brunch buffet featuring eggs benedict, hickory smoked ham with rum glaze, quiche Lorainne and more.
Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Co.
Easter Brunch Buffet: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Moosejaw Pizza is also a strong contender with families. The spacious dining areas make it a great fit for a large group too. The Easter buffet here includes yummy French toast, southern biscuits with gravy and honey ham.
