The food scene in Wisconsin Dells gets better with age, as evidenced by the growing number of restaurants and culinary styles added to the community each year. Sample from nearly 20 restaurants at the annual Taste of the Dells event, set for June 10-11 in downtown Dells at the corner of Oak and Broadway. New this year, a Friday night Fish Boil has been added to the line-up. The Fish Boil runs from 4:30pm – 7:30pm and tickets are available here. When you’re not munching you can be shopping the arts and crafts marketplace, taking in the corvette parade, or enjoying live jazz, country and blues music.
Visit almost any day this summer and there’s sure to be a group performing downtown at the corner of Eddy and Broadway from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. There are more than 70 performances on the calendar. The variety is really quite impressive - a drum line, classically trained violinist, pop vocalist, steel drums, cloggers, American polka, mamba and merengue, and more. Oh, did we mention these performances are all free!
