Here’s an easy formula to remember, no math skills required: fall = festivals. Come autumn, we get into full fest mode in Wisconsin Dells, celebrating the crisp air, bounty of the crop, community, and culture. Join us, won’t you?
The weekend of September 16 is the annual Wo-Zha-Wa Days Fall Festival. This is small town Americana at its finest, with sidewalk sales, an antiques flea market, arts and crafts fair, carnival rides, and concessions, topped off with a 100-unit parade on Sunday afternoon. There is no admission charge.
Next up, Fall Festival Weekend, October 14 and 15. This started out as a one-day Autumn Harvest Fest and just kept expanding until it became a full-fledged weekend event. It kicks off Friday with the Dells Craft Beer Walk. Saturday morning starts with a 5K Monster Dash. That afternoon it’s Dells on Tap, a microbrew tasting event where attendees get to meet the brewmasters themselves. And Autumn Harvest Fest, with free admission, runs all day Saturday and includes cute kids’ activities, an arts and crafts marketplace, live music and food.
Now for the new event this year, it’s Kilbourn City Live on October 1. This block party-style music event in downtown Wisconsin Dells will feature up-and-coming bands along with a notable headline act. Admission is free.
