Family at Mt Olympus Waterpark

Boost your Instagram likes without having to invest in an expensive camera, take a photography class, or master photoshop. The key is having a great subject matter, and that you’ll find in surplus in Wisconsin Dells. If you’re looking for a little inspiration, try this list:

Love The Dells

Tubie Statues: You can never go wrong snapping a photo alongside Tubie. For the uninitiated, Tubie is the official mascot of Wisconsin Dells, and there are statues of the jolly tube character at Noah’s Ark Waterpark, Wilderness Resort, and Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park.

Foodie Heaven: If you’ve not been to the new Grateful Shed, you are in for a culinary delight. Stop over at The Shed and visit one, two or all three food trucks! Grab a taco at Pasqual’s Cantina, cheese curds at Melted or a spicy poké bowl at Tavernakaya and take a photo before you dig in. Extra points if you sit in one of the VW vans converted with diner seating!

Animal Encounters: Honestly, a sweet snap of your toddler petting the deer at Wisconsin Deer Park or your tween feeding a snack to a tall giraffe at Timbavati Wildlife Park never gets old. Images of the animals on their own will earn you bonus points as a wildlife photographer.

Romantic Dinner: Ishnala Supper Club, perched over pristine Mirror Lake, was voted the #1 supper club in Wisconsin in a Travel Wisconsin poll, which is reason enough to grab a selfie with your significant other to commemorate that romantic dinner you just enjoyed.

Lost Canyon Tours: As the horses pull the wagon through the cliff-walled gorges, it’s easy to be mesmerized by the ancient beauty, but don’t forget to grab a photo.

State Parks: Devil’s Lake State Park has incredible quartzite cliffs. Mirror Lake State Park has pretty woodland trails. And Rocky Arbor State Park has a cute picnic/playground area. Start clicking and posting.

Sunset Cruise: Snag a seat on the upper deck of the Dells Boat Tours Sunset Dinner Cruise, then wait for it, with “it” being that moment when the glorious rays from the sinking sun light up the sandstone cliffs along the Wisconsin River. Bonus points if you’re able to get photo along the torch lit walk through Witches Gulch!
