Tastiest Shades of Green and Where to Find Them

March 14, 2017

Wisconsin Dells. St. Patrick’s Day. We thought you’d enjoy sampling some other green-themed treats that are a mix of sweet and savory. Let’s start with an appetizer, namely guacamole, with Mexicali Rose and San Antonio Mexican Restaurant each offering up their own version of this classic. Go to Green Owl Pizza, and not just for the name, to try their nachos with guac. At Cindy’s Cafe & Gifts, the Deluxe Grilled Cheese is made with two kinds of cheeses, tomato and pesto. Pair with a slice of their homemade key lime pie for the perfect lunch menu. For dinner entrées, Sarento’s Restaurant’s Greek Pizza is loaded with spinach, artichoke hearts, and basil pesto. If you’re dining at an area supper club, save room for an after-dinner grasshopper ice cream drink. And to sweeten the car ride home, pick up some mint fudge from Original Wisconsin Dells Fudge, Swiss Maid Fudge, Wisconsin Dairyland Fudge, or Goody Goody Gum Drop LLC.
