The Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau is thrilled to invite you to the 2nd Annual Tourism Summit! Don’t miss the opportunity to renew relationships, grow your knowledge and get in on the Marketplace action.
We will start the morning with an exciting session by Dr. Lalia Rach, who will provide genuine ideas and uncommon sense in an entertaining and thoughtful style as she describes tourism industry trends and realities going forward. Our 60-minute morning breakouts will have a variety of topics for you to choose from. B+L expert Lisa Huebner will teach you to uncover the hidden tools of Google AdWords. Join Boardman & Clark LLP attorney Robert E. Gregg to learn current issues, legal trends and practical pointers for your business electronic operations. Ask Dr. Lalia Rach a question or two on customer trends, strategy or leadership, and receive her feedback at the Q & A session.
Enjoy your lunch, exploring the showcase of products and services of WDVCB members from around the area at the Tourism Summit Marketplace. Visit each booth and you might have an opportunity to win a great prize! All of the winners will be announced at the closing Networking Reception.
If you missed an opportunity to hear Lisa Huebner in the morning, don’t worry. She will repeat her Google AdWords session in the afternoon. Officer Brent Brown from the Wisconsin Dells Police Department will share useful tips on how to avoid becoming a victim of Identity Theft. And Andrew Nussbaum from the WI Department of Tourism will remind you of the basics on welcoming guests when they arrive at your doorstep.
Take a short break before we dive into the afternoon session with Bill Marklein, whose specialized expertise in Emotional Intelligence will teach you how to manage your own emotions and emotions around you in a stressful workplace.
We will conclude our event in a relaxing atmosphere, with light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar during the Networking Reception.
