The Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau (WDVCB) is the official tourism destination management organization for the Wisconsin Dells area. A private, non-profit corporation formed in 1949, the WDVCB is funded through a combination of room tax, membership dues and advertising co-ops.

Summary of Position
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for accurate data entry, scanning and filing accounts payable and accounts receivable related items, and assists with other accounting related duties as directed. Work hours will be based on need and estimated to be between 15-25 hours. per week.

Associate degree in Accounting with two or more years of accounting related experience desired. High school diploma with five or more years of accounting related experience may be considered.
Cash handling and reconciliation experience required.
Current driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Ability to work effectively with a team and/or independently.
Excellent, proven organizational and follow-through skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under deadlines.
Ability to interact with employees, customers and vendors in a professional manner.
Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately.
Must possess a high attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
Experience with Accounting Software required.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate in a professional manner.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of people and display a positive attitude.
Ability to work without regular instruction or direction on routine work or new assignments.
Work Hours & Compensation
The work hours are estimated to be 15-25 hours per week with a schedule that could be Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm and every other Friday, 10am-4pm. May require occasional 40-hour work week to cover department vacations or during peak work periods. Pay based on experience.
