Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau

Employee Entertainment Card (EEC)

The Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau offers member employees only, an exclusive offer to receive “first-hand” experiences and FREE admission to over 30 attractions and special discounts at area restaurants, shops and services with the purchase of an Employment Entertainment Card (EEC). The purpose of the program is to enrich the employee’s knowledge of area businesses and allow them to provide visitors with recommendations that they may have gained personally by using the EEC.

Employee Entertainment Cards (EECs) are available to the following employees:

  • Individuals employed by businesses in the Attraction, Restaurant, Accommodation, Campground, Shopping and Visitor Services Divisions regardless of where the business is located.
  • Individuals employed by businesses in the Associate Division where the business is located in Wisconsin Dells or Lake Delton.

The following guidelines apply:

  • Employees must be 14 years of age or older (12 and 13 year olds employed by their parents, who own the business, as well).
  • Discounts are generally valid for a single use (some businesses may allow multiple uses) and by the cardholder only.
  • Lost, destroyed or misplaced cards will not be replaced.

Requirements for purchase:

  • Paycheck stub dated within past 30 days (from a current member business)
  • Picture ID or Social Security Card
  • Employer-purchased voucher or $15 cash

Voucher Purchase - $10

EEC vouchers are available for member businesses to purchase for their employees at $10 each. ELIGIBILITY

Open All
Who is eligible to receive the EEC?

Employees who work for a current member of the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau (WDVCB). Eligible businesses include those in the Attraction, Accommodation, Campground, Restaurant, Shopping, Visitor Services and Associate (Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area only) divisions. Employees of Associate Division members located outside of the Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area are not eligible to receive EEC’s. Click here to email us your employer’s name to confirm eligibility.

I am a local resident, am I eligible to receive an EEC?

The EEC is not issued based on where you live but rather who you are employed by. Recipients of the EEC must be employed by a WDVCB member business.

If I work for a business that is subcontracted by a business that is eligible for the card, am I eligible to receive the EEC as well?

No, unless the subcontracted business is a member of WDVCB.

Why do I have to work for a WDVCB member in order to get the EEC?

The Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau is a membership organization and the EEC is a benefit offered only to members of our organization.

Yes. As long as it shows your first & last name, name of employer and check date.

We can go back 30 days or one month from the date that you are applying for an EEC.

 Do you accept debit/credit cards?

No. At this time we only accept cash.

If I received a voucher from my employer do I still need to pay the $15 cash?

No. The voucher pays for the EEC. You would only need to show a current paycheck stub and photo identification.

Do I need to bring in a paycheck stub if I am paying with a voucher?

Yes. We still need to view a legal paycheck stub for proof of employment by a WDVCB member business.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Open All
Can I pick-up my spouse’s/friend’s EEC if I have their paycheck stub, cash/voucher and photo identification?

No. An updated photo (taken at the time of issuance) and signature of the recipient is required.

If I have an EEC, can my spouse, mother, daughter, etc. use it?

No. The card is only valid for the person to whom the card was issued to and whose name and photo appear on the card.

If I lose my EEC can I pay for another one?

No. We only issue one card per person per year. EEC states that “the card cannot be replaced for any reason”.

How long does it take to process an EEC?

If you have your photo identification, paycheck stub and $15 cash (or voucher) all available, it only takes 3-4 minutes to process an EEC. However, during peak times of the year (June – August) there may be a wait. We appreciate your patience and are making changes in order to make the process more efficient.

How long is the EEC valid for?

The card is valid January 1 - December 31 of the year it is issued. Some businesses listed on the card operate seasonally.
