If ever there was a time for toddlers to be the center of attention in Wisconsin Dells, it’s fall. Grade-schoolers and high-schoolers are back to hitting the books, the pace becomes very easy-going, and little kid attractions abound from one end of town to the other.
An Itinerary Just for Little Kids
Toddlers, your time has come. Meaning it’s fall, and the big kids are back in school so you get the full attention of the grown-ups and the run of favorite sized-right attractions in Wisconsin Dells.
Great Wolf Lodge is a toddler’s dream come true, with an indoor waterpark that features a water fort tree house, activity pools and kiddie slides at every turn. On dry land, there are wake-up activities with costumed characters and a bedtime story hour with forest friends. Other waterpark resorts have toddler-friendly attractions too including Wilderness Resort, Chula Vista Resort Waterparks, Kalahari Resort Waterparks and Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park.
Animal attractions are a must, which means a visit to Timbavati Wildlife Park where children can get up-close with exotic animals and Wisconsin Deer Park where they can feed the deer.
Trains are another tried-and-true toddler favorite. For lunch, kids can have their meal delivered by miniature train at Buffalo Phil’s Pizza & Grille, don’t forget to check out LEGO Brick City-everyone is sure to love it! Then it’s all-aboard at Riverside & Great Northern Railway, where everyone can take a memorable seven mile ride on beautifully resorted steel coaches.
Bumper bowling is a blast at Knuckleheads, Tom Foolerys Adventure Park and Chalet Lanes.
