Women's Basic Handgun 101 at DEZ Tactical Arms & Indoor Shooting Range

Event Overview

Learn the basics at DEZ Tactical Arms & Indoor Shooting Range. In this introduction module, our instructor introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. We go on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.

This two hour course will be split: one hour in the classroom and one hour in the range.
You will be able to provide your own firearm and ammunition. If you are in need of a rental firearm, we will be able to provide a 22lr handgun and ammunition for $15 the day of class.
Eye and ear protection will be required for the range portion of the class and we will have some available for purchase at the location.

Prerequisite: 21 years and older
Maximum: Five students
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
