There’s no better way to beat the summer heat than with a splash at an outdoor waterpark. What better place to do that than Wisconsin Dells, “The Waterpark Capital of the World!®" This summer, we invite you to join us in celebrating National Waterpark Day on Monday, July 28.  Did you know the holiday started right here in Wisconsin Dells? Kalahari Resorts & Conventions founded it in 2017. Since then, it has brought even more families together for splash-filled summer experiences.

1. Kalahari Resort Waterparks

Celebrate National Waterpark Day at Kalahari Resort Waterparks with a splash, sunshine, and special waterpark activities! Jump on The Smoke that Thunders, a thrilling ride that sends you soaring through a dark tube, around a funnel flume, and plunging nearly vertical. If you like it more mellow, you will enjoy the 750-ft.-long lazy river twisting through the outdoor waterpark. Tip: Make sure not to miss out on the National Waterpark Day foam parties every two hours starting at 12pm!

2. Noah’s Ark Waterpark

Noah’s Ark Waterpark features over 70 acres of waterslides, rivers, and wave pools. Try heart-pounding rides like Scorpion’s Tail and Black Anaconda. Visitors can also enjoy relaxing areas like the Endless River and Kahuna Wave Pool, so it’s perfect for the whole family to run wild. 

3. Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park

For a mix of wet and dry thrills, head to Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park. This all-day outdoor adventure features wave pools, roller coasters, go-karts, and waterslides galore. Dare to conquer The Rise of Icarus, America’s Tallest Waterslide, cool off in the serene Pool of Delphi, or take on the powerful Poseidon's Rage, a 9-ft. wave pool. Don’t miss Medusa’s Slidewheel, the first rotating waterslide in the U.S., combining the fun of a Ferris wheel and a waterslide in one wild ride.

4. Land of Natura

Explore nature in a whole new way at Land of Natura, America’s Largest Inflatable Waterpark. This unique eco-adventure park offers a one-of-a-kind outdoor waterpark experience in  Lake Wisconsin Dells - the largest man-made naturally filtered lake in the world! Jump, swing, and climb on the inflatable play structures or race down Mount Natura on their waterslides. Enjoy beaches, waterfalls, snorkeling, and even the little ones can be included in on the fun at Mini-Waterworld! 

5. Wilderness Resort Waterpark

With four indoor and four outdoor waterparks, Wilderness Resort is one of the largest waterpark resorts in the U.S. At the Wild Waterdome Waterpark, you can splash in America’s Largest Indoor Wave Pool, or venture to Klondike Kavern, where you can ride The Hurricane, a thrill slide for the whole family. With many options for outdoor fun, enjoy the “lazy lake” and have fun on tube and body slides of varying thrills and sizes.

6. Chula Vista Resort

Take on the fun at Chula Vista Resort, with outdoor thrills like Howlin’ Tornado and Red Rock Racers, or explore the 120,000-sq.-ft. Adventure Lagoon outdoor waterpark. The wave pool is also a must visit, as it is nestled amongst the pine trees with a scenic view of the Wisconsin River.

7. Great Wolf Lodge

Gather your pack and visit Great Wolf Lodge’s waterpark, full of activities for all ages. Explore the Raccoon Lagoon, perfect for splashing and soaking up the sun. For the more adventurous members of the party, check out Howlin’ Tornado, a raft adventure with twists, turns, and splashes that will have you howling with delight.
