What’s Cookin’ for Thanksgiving?

Grateful for Togetherness

If you love cooking, cleaning, serving, cleaning some more and then collapsing, this story isn’t for you. Everyone else, read on.

Wisconsin Dells has really turned into a fine destination for Thanksgiving, thanks in large part to the wonderful offerings from the waterpark resorts. At Chula Vista Resort, there’s an incredible Thanksgiving buffet, along with lots of family activities including family movies, scavenger hunts, nature walks and story time.

At the Wilderness Resort, the Turkey Day buffet is everything you could ask for and more, from cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes to turkey and dressing, along with a decadent dessert table of pies, crisps and cookies.

You will not go hungry at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions on Thanksgiving Day, with a buffet menu as long as your arm. For a family of four, stay as part of their two-night Thanksgiving package and the buffet is included. Don’t forget to tune into the Macy’s Day Parade, Thursday morning, to view the Kalahari Float-we hear it’s going to be phenomenal!

Wear off calories splashing around the waterparks, doing some ziplining, playing laser tag, bowling a few frames, jumping around at a trampoline park, and hiking at a nearby state park.

Starting a new tradition by vacationing in Wisconsin Dells for Thanksgiving is certain to be as satisfying as a big slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top!
