Luckily, we’re here to help with some ideas. Toddlers can certainly enjoy the waterpark resorts alongside the rest of the family. Many of the waterparks have zero depth pools and water playlands with clean sight lines, making it easy to keep track of (and keep up!) with your little one.
At the large waterpark resorts, this includes Raccoon Lagoon at Great Wolf Lodge, Incatinka Kiddie Play Area at Chula Vista Resort, Tiko’s Watering Hole at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, Hispaniola Bay at Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park and Wild West at Wilderness Resort. These resorts come with all the amenities, including family-friendly dining and shops right on property.
If you prefer to stay at a mid-size waterpark resort, we certainly have a great selection to choose from. Alakai Hotel & Suites, Atlantis Waterpark Hotel & Suites, Meadowbrook Resort, Polynesian Water Park Resort and Wintergreen Resort & Conference Center have been pleasing families for decades.
If camping is more your thing, Sherwood Forest Camping & RV Park and Yogi Bear™ Camp-Resort & Water Playground offer water activities on site too.
Don’t forget about the toddler-friendly activities on dry land, like Tommy Bartlett Exploratory – Interactive Science Center, Wisconsin Deer Park, Timbavati Wildlife Park and Riverside & Great Northern Railway.
